Daylily Illumination

Daylily Illumination depicts a daylily dramatically lit up by the afternoon sun.  The petals are a creamy white, with lavender edges.  This image is full of reflected light as the golden sunshine bounces into the cool blue, green, and purple shadows.  The petals are very detailed and the colors are very dramatic - the photo here does not do it justice.  It is an original watercolor painting on Arches 140lb. cold press paper. This painting won the "Outstanding Floral Award" at the Hoosier Salon Annual Juried Exhibition several years ago.

The price includes a double white archival mat and an antique gold frame.  The framed size is 26" x 32".  If you would like to see a picture of it framed or if you would rather purchase it unframed, please contact me for further information.  It is also available as a limited edition giclee print.
